Abstract

The study included 595 healthy females aged 18–40 years living in the Arkhangelsk Region and the Nenets Autonomous Area. Pituitary (adenohypophysis) and ovary hormones were examined by means of radioimmunoassay. Some adaptive and pathologic signs were revealed in the reproductive axis, including: clinical manifestations of secondary hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, restructuring of interhormonal relationships, and menstrual disorders.
