Abstract

The paper presents key results of the research, education and practical activities of the Child Development Competence Center “Sodeistvie” (Institute of Medical and Biological Research, Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov) on ADHD. The researches on this topic, conducted at the institute, are presented in various textbooks, monographs, teaching guidelines, articles in leading scientific journals and publications. Eight theses for the degree of Candidate of Biology were defended on the basis of these materials. A considerable part of the materials is used in teaching students and in professional development courses for specialists of educational institutions. Practical activities are funded from the regional budget under the state contract between NArFU and the Ministry of Education of the Arkhangelsk Region. It makes free and highly specialized care available for all children in the region. In addition, a new regional network of remote counselling for children with emotional and behavioral disorders is being developed.
