Lomonosov (Arkhangelsk, Russia)AbstractChildren with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) have certain peculiarities of emotional, volitional, and cognitive spheres, leading to difficulties in social adaptation in general and necessitating special conditions for their education. The paper presents some recommendations for developing an individual program of remedial education for children with ADHD. The program consists of three parts. The first part provides general recommendations. The second one describes the directions and objectives of remedial work in terms of proximal development of a pupil. The third part of the program is devoted to the work with parents. When setting up a program, one should bear in mind that a child needs comprehensive support. The child’s family plays an important role in the process of remedial education.Keywordsattention deficit hyperactivity disorder, special needs, individual program, remedial education.References
