At the moment, the most relevant are studies on hypoxia and hypoxic training for athletes, as well as functioning of the cardiovascular system and consequences of COVID-19. Participating in the “Fundamental Sciences to Medicine” section, the author of this paper reported on one of the important topics of endocrine research in the European North of Russia, namely, photoperiodic dynamics of thyroid profile parameters, being key regulators of the body’s metabolic processes that play a significant role in its adaptation to changes in the environment.KeywordsEuropean North of Russia, current endocrine research, photoperiodism, thyroid hormones, autoantibodies |
