Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of airways patency in young people living in the Far North during the period of polar day and polar night. During the period of polar night as compared to polar day, improved airflow patency at the level of large and medium bronchi was observed. The changes in bronchial patency were more pronounced in girls than in young males.
