Abstract

The article dwells on the study of the level of low- and medium-molecular-weight substances in the body fluids of 21–55-year-old women living in the northern and southern parts of the Arkhangelsk region. In the blood of the northern group we observed a shift of metabolic processes to the catabolic component, as well as an increased level of low- and medium-molecular-weight substances. The blood of the southern population had increased protein content of the medium-molecular-weight pool (oligopeptides).
