Abstract

This paper presents key topics of the 18th Congress of the Russian Holter Monitoring and Non- Invasive Electrophysiology Society, which was held in Nizhny Novgorod on 26–27 April 2017. The event was attended by over 400 people from all over Russia and neighbouring countries. The participants presented reports on the work of paediatric cardiologists. In addition to such traditional topics as sudden death, hypertension, heart failure, irregular heartbeat and many others, reports were made on sports medicine, in particular occupational diseases of athletes.
